Family, couples, maternity, and creative portrait sessions can take place at a chosen location (I have plenty of cool, beautiful spots to recommend!), in studio, or in your home.
I always include classic posed portraits and detail images. I will guide, pose, and give you prompts allowing for movement and natural interaction. I like to keep shooting while we're moving around our location to get true, unmanufactured candids. Family and couples sessions allow for plenty of unprompted documentation while individual portraits are a bit more focused and guided for the entirety of the session.
I love hearing about your reasons for booking a photo shoot and I love collaborating with your ideas for the session to come up with creative concepts.

-full sessions are usually around an hour long. Sometimes more, sometimes a little less.
-you'll receive all good images back in a thoughtfully curated gallery (aka not a million photos of the same pose or prompt 25 times) but a solid, diverse body of work from our time together.
These sessions are great when you already know you're going to want a nice big gallery of your photos vs. a limited amount. We also get to spend more time together, which can be really great for larger groups or families, and when kids are present. Sometimes it takes the little ones (and grown ups too) a bit of time in front of the camera to feel comfortable being photographed.
*full sessions are subject to a price increase for certain circumstances like larger extended family sessions
Film!

I will shoot a combination of 35mm, Medium format, and instant film at our session. All film scans will be added to your digital gallery. Instant film will be given to you at the end of our session!
